What a Proper Connection Includes

The right length of flexible hose for the appliance, a bayonet fitting, and a stability chain or bracket so the cooker cannot tip when the oven door is open. We then carry out a tightness test on the installation and check the flame on every burner and the oven.

Swapping From Electric to Gas

If there is no gas supply where the cooker is going, we run new pipework to the right spot and fit the bayonet point. It is worth doing before a kitchen is fitted rather than after. We check the meter and existing pipework can carry the extra load first.
